I have found this site and they are listing Halifax mortgages for 95% LTV for 3.95%.
Seems to good to be true and nothing like this on the Halifax site?
Just checking really if anyone else seen this
Thanks

That deal is fake.
90% is about the best you will get with rates around the 7% mark.
You might want to report them to the FSA.0 -
Wow
So here is what they say
Halifax 3yr BBR + 2.59% Tracker LTV 95% Ex/C Direct link is http://www.money.co.uk/mortgages/95-mortgages.htm
How do you report them? Are they a dodge site then?Self confessed Florida expert with over 320 trips there!

I don't think recommending a complaint to the FSA is a particularly good piece of mortgage advice in these circumstances!0 -
looks like a lead farm websiteAny posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0

YES the product in question is for existing customers - product transfers only ( as far as I can see , even direct it appears not available for remortgages, purchases or even further advances)Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0

A lead farm ( not saying the site in question is one)
a site mainly set up to produce leads ( names and addresses) which are then used by the firm to get info to either sell services ( where the visitor is looking for just info) - either in house, or by an associacted firm.. but often to sell on to other advisers.
EDIT . just to clarify - many comparison sites do this , the site is marketed as a research tool , but its more a form of atrtacting hits it.. some of which will buy direct ( on some sites thats still earns them a commission on some products) , or the opportuntity to sell/ advise themselves ( a well known comparison site has phone me within minutes of hitting the compare button) , pass on to the listed providers OR pass on to other brokers ( who pay for the lead)Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0 -

I thought the 3.95% rate and 95% loan to value was good, but when they said they would throw in a 5% cashback, give me the first years payments free of charge, and let me have unlimited use of a Porsche 911 for a year... I thought it might be a wind up :rotfl:I am a Mortgage adviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Don't iknow what the firm authorisation levels are .. but on that site it says
is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority to conduct the regulated business of introducing mortgages and insurance productsAny posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0
