jesster - if you don't know how to send a PM, you click on jellycat's username at the top left of her post, then you'll get a dropdown menu including the option to "Send a private message to jellycat".jesster wrote:jellycat - could I PM you on something related to this? (not that i'm sure how!)

Hi all,
I posted on this website about a month ago looking for people who are in serious debt i.e huge amounts on either personal loans, credit cards and/or store cards. I had great feedback but unfortunately the people who replied were not based in London or could not meet up. Just to remind you or even ask you for the first time, I am doing a uni radio project on debt and need to record someone talking about their problems and how they ended up there. I am based at City University (London, Islington) and think it would be best that if anyone is able to help me out that they should be able to come down to the uni, I know this sounds cheeky but the reason is so that it is a comfortable situation for me and who ever I interview as meeting people of the internet isn't the safest thing in the world and also I will need a quiet space to do the recording. I would really appreciate all your help!0 -
Hi mala
I am in central London and could help - racked up six figures unsecured. PM me if you want to talk further.Budget: a mathematical confirmation of your suspicions. A.A. Latimer
Debt Jan 06: £103,000
Current: £99,000
Debt-free date: 2465 (give or take a century)
Current homemade banana bread status: 2 slices left
Current statement/letter stack: 8.6 inches
The real measure of your wealth is how much you'd be worth if you lost all your money

Hi Mala - I've been a journalist for 11 years, and if you want to be one you're going to have to get used to meeting strangers! It's not always a safe job. I once had to go and meet a former gangster on a street corner in Croydon!! My mum thought I wouldn't come back alive!!
Good luck with your project - hope it all goes well.

I'd be happy to help - living in North London, £50k secured debt, £25k unsecured, can get to Islington evenings and weekends. Just send me a PM.The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.0
