Well, what do you wanna know? Basics is I'm a recent graduate in Imaginative Writing, I live in Liverpool but I come from down south originally. I live with 3 of my best male mates and I work in Primark on the weekends, I hate it so bad that I feel ill everytime I have to go there.
Cool, why do you hate it?

Hey is it cool to tell your son how he feels about you as a dad on MSN Messenger whilst at the same time letting him know that my dad , his Grandad has a heart problem and Im just about to ask him how he feels about me as a dad?

  • Physically it is really hard on me, I have torn cartilage in my hip from a very old operation when I was a kid. Standing and walking around for 8 hours can be agony. Mentally, I hate the way it makes me feel, coz the customers are generally inconsiderate and talk to you like you are dirt. Plus because it's a cheap shop, they think nothing of throwing things around and even throwing things at my feet. It just makes me so angry because my mother always taught me to put something back if I don't want it. I'm not generally an angry person but every weekend, I'm just seething. Good workmates are the only thing keep me sane.

I would tell him about his grandad first and then let the conversation go where it's going to, it might end up musing away on to how he feels about his grandad and you.

Oh ok I see, it cant be easy, but you see you need to identify why they are acting like that. You can see why they are acting like that and you need to say to yourself that there is a reason why they are behaving like that, is it how they have been brought up for example. Promise me that you will try this: When this happens again, ask yourself why are they doing this there must be a reason, dont blame them there has to be a reason. try to identify what this reason must be and I am sure it will help you through your day. Without being SUPERIOR you can help them. Does that make sense?

  • Kinda, for the most part I try not to let it get to me, and I sometimes have days where it doesn't bother me much, I just sigh, pick up whatever it is that's been thrown at me and put it away. I suppose it is partly my attitude, you know, my dad has told me I have to stop thinking I'm better than that job or it is gonna drive me nuts.

  • Yeah, I had an injection (cortisone, I think) in it about a month ago and it's a lot better. Doesn't hurt all the time, and when it does, it's not so bad.
