    DERBY TELEGRAPH - 35p

    AND

    NOTTINGHAM POST

FREE - FISH, CHIPS & MUSHY PEAS

    Coupon collect - 3 required

First coupon was actually printed a week ago (Wednesday 4th Feb) and sadly the last is this Friday (the 13th  )

So unless you can get your hands on old papers from the last 7 days, there are only 3 days left, including today, to get 3 coupons.
However they are not numbered so you can use 3 from the same edition :)

A set of 3 entitles the bearer to a meal consisting of 2 mini fish fillets, chips and peas. "Only" one free meal PER CUSTOMER PER DAY

I obtained 3 old newspapers yesterday and had some last night - VERY nice indeed.

Coupons to be redeemed at GEORGE'S Tradition takeaways

On Monday I found a form inside the DVD card slipcase which was offering The True Glory DVD. Postage free.

Description of The True Glory - A feature length documentary account of the allied invasion of Europe during World War II compiled from footage shot by nearly 1400 cameramen. It opens as the assembled allied forces plan and train for the D-Day invasion at bases in Great Britain and covers all the major events of the war in Europe from the Normandy landings to the fall of Berlin.

The same form is in today's copies of FIRST OF THE FEW

As you say no P&P to pay and even the address is FREEPOST

Needs to be returned by Feb 27th 2009

Was it wrapped in the newspaper?

    :rotfl: Sadly no.
I think health and safety rules don't allow this any more, which is a shame since it is an instant recycle without any additional processing.

It came in a polystyrene box and a HUGE paper carrier bag.

The Times in my local Sainsburys (Victoria, London) today comes with a free copy of the book Lady Chatterley's Lover. This is contained in a plastic bag together with the paper.

The offer is for a different "Penguin Film Classics" book each day - it has been running Mon-Fri from 2nd February and unfortunately ends this Friday (13th). If it's anything like last time they ran a similar Penguin books promotion last summer it'll only be in the London area and only from certain larger chains (Sainsburys and WHSmith and possibly others) so fairly limited.

I'll try and check which the books are for the last two days of the offer and add details to the relevant Newspaper Summary thread for that day. Gutted I didn't notice this until now - I loved the last free Penguin book offer with The Times, some really good books were included last time round.
