Halifax debt and their approach to people

My minimum monthly repayment is now at over £200 even though there is no interest being added (this was my one victory so far, I got the interest and charges refunded and the interest is still not being applied)...
They did exactly the same thing to me. They had frozen everything and didn't tell me they weren't going to anymore untill they sent the statement with chargers and interest added. Just keep paying what you can afford they will eventualy pass it to a DCA probably APEX.
Well done on gettting the interest ect refunded the best I got was a reduced rate for a few months."You are entitled to your own opinions but not your own facts" - Arthur Schlesinger

I also have a loan through them too and that has been with Blair Scott Oliver since I started my DMP and they have been nothing short of great, so I wish they would pass over the debt as it would make life an awful lot easier!0

Really? Well they have been nothing short of great - completely different to the other idiots that phone.
Even when I got a letter saying I had missed a payment, I phoned them immediately and they apologised and said my account was completely up to date, said it was due to the payment dates falling over a weekend and agreed to send me a letter confirming that my account was fine - which I received within 2 days!0 -

That's good. What you tend to find is that DCA's and banks offer very spotty service. It all depends on the person managing your account, so they can range from good to dispicable within the same organisation.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

Sorry to hear the Hellifax have been so unsympathetic.
