I think I have been dismissed on the basis of making a Public Interest Disclosure. Would I have to prove this to be eligible for Interim Relief? Thanks for any help.

If you are subject to a detriment after disclosure you have a right to complain to an employment tribunal. Is this an option or are you time barred?Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0

this is an option, but I don't have many days left. How long does the processing of this take? I would also like to know if this disclosure is a contributing factor of dismissal will that also count. Thanks btw.0

You have three months less a day to lodge a claim to an ET - i suspect you're aware of the tight timescales though.
If you were a union member i can guarantee the full time official will want to know of the circs surrounding your dismissal and the event leading up to it.
(sorry, i typed a great deal more, but it vanished before i could post it and i lost the will to type it out again)Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0 -
Have a look at this: http://www.berr.gov.uk/whatwedo/employment/employment-legislation/employment-guidance/page16186.html
Further down the page it mentions the time limits & exceptional circumstances.

I haven't wrote a grievance about the dismissal yet. For a grievance regarding dismissal should it be short and sweet, as long as necessary or blunt and to the point?0

You must have been told why you are being dismissed, why do you only 'think' it was for a public interest disclosure. You must have been given a written warning or letter of dismissal spelling out why.
This sounds a bit dodgy.Life is too short to drink bad wine!0 -

This sounds a bit dodgy.
The reason given may not necessarily be the real reason....few companies would actually leave themselves open to action by stating that a person was sacked because they were a whistle blower.0
