I contacted Swift Driving School in Belfast when I was learning to drive and was thinking about an intensive course. They actually advised against it as the pass rate wasn't terribly good and that they felt it unsuitable for the majority of learner drivers. They recommended taking 2-3 lessons a week instead if you want to pass your test fairly quickly.
If you start now with a normal driving school, you could easily pass by August. I started learning in Feb 2006 and passed first time in July 2006 and that was just having one lesson most weeks. I think I had about 21 or 22 lessons in total but 5 or so of those were in the week immediately before the test (at my request).0 -

The Pass Plus course is a voluntary one and is already available to anyone who has passed their driving test in the last 12 months. It provides training in areas including driving at night, motorway driving and all-weather driving.Pass Plus graduates discounts, some of up to 40%. †

Sorry Stephen, I'm unclear after reading your link. What is the Pass Plus course? Where (in Northern Ireland) is it available and how much does it cost? Please expand.
