Hi,
Is it possible to swap house in Scotland. My parents live in a house that is becoming too big for them and would like to down size however, in the current market they are having problems selling.
What options do they have?
Thanks for any advice.
Gilbert.

You can swap properties in Scotland, of course you will have issues of finding people that want your parents property AND have a property that your parents want.
Where is your parents property for sale?
Can you post a link to the property, then we might be able to give better advice?
the short answer though is if your parents are struggling to sell, maybe they have marketed the property incorrectly to attract potential buyers:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.

Hi, thanks for the speedy reply.
Here is a link to the house on right move.

They have seen another property that they like that is also up for sale, the seller is having trouble selling and that house has been empty for over a year.
Thanks again,
