my brother kindly gave me a huge bag of his field grown ones, dh loves swede and mashed carrot, but he doesnt have to prepare the blighters !! anycase money saving me did thank my brother very kindly, we will be eating swede until August !!0

Sorry - couldnt resist after getting my knife stuck in one the other day and having to get dh to come and rescue me and it!!I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star. I tend to use the "whack it on the table" method when my knife gets stuck. So far it's worked ok, though I am very careful when I do this so as not to cause damage or injury0
