Credit card and payplan?

I am just starting to write letters to my creditors as advised by payplan and I cannot remember if a credit card is a priority debt or not. We have an arrangement with Metropolitan, the credit card collection company to pay our arrears off at 65.00 a month. I am making token payments to the other creditors. Can I do this with the credit card too or do I have to stick to the arrangement with Metro? Any advice would be great Thanks

HI Calm girl,
I thought priority debts were rent / mortgage, council tax, utilities electric / gas / water and NOT credit cards.
Maybe you can check on their website.
Its just a guess from memory from what I have read on here, but I am sure some one who definitely knows the correct answer will post a reply soon.

Credit card debt is not a priority. Definitely not. Not when it comes to living anyway.

deffo not a priority. make sure rent/mortgage, council tax utilities etc are paid first.
Just explain to them that other debts are priority and that you are offering what you can afford provide them with a statement of affairs showing income and expenditure.
