Wedding Website help

My OH has created a website to keep everyone updated, post photo's etc.

He wants me to write an "about us" paragraph but I can't think of what to say and how to make it interesting!

Any help would be wonderful

What about how/where you met, how long you've been together, how you got engaged & what your plans are for the first year of married life? Hope that helps you get started!

I've come up with this so far...


SmlSave and OH met in O'Neil's some six years ago and with some help from their friends they started to see quiet a lot of each other. Soon OH approached SmlSave to ask if she would consent to go out with him “officially” i.e.be his girlfriend to which she replied 'no'! However she soon relented :- ). After four years of them living separately, they thought it was much more fun to live in sin. They now own a little crooked (and damp) house in Swindon where OH lives in front of his computer and SmlSave in front of her books. They enjoy watching films, eating food and sleeping (sometimes doing all three at the same time). They dislike bleach in cups, black mould and the dog next door.

A word of caution - don't put anything on a wedding site that you wouldn't happily tell your worst enemy or a stranger at the bus stop or any of your ex's!

If you're worried about security you can put a password on your site, that's what we've done with ours and then just put the details in the invite.
