any should keep in a airtight tin till then - what do you fancy - cookies, shortbread, plain biccies cut into heart and iced?People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

I have made "Twinks Hobnobs "myself they are foolproof and keep fresh for ages. I put them into a tin with a layer if kitchen roll between them (when I plan to resist them for that long !!!) They never go stale or soft ,and seem to keep for ages.
Im not very computer literate ,so cant give you a direct link to the recipe ,but Im sure you could find it if you do a search on this forum

How about Gingerbread. I made 40 Gingerbread Hearts yesterday. You can ice them and the keep very well.:DWooligans member 2010 - 6 animal blankets. 2 angel wraps, 2 baby hat, 4 Aaron squares, 5 cardigans

We're doing some fund raising at work, so are using Nigella's rainy day biscuit recipe for iced valentines hearts. They're being made tonight... hopefully.
We're also looking for other ideas - pink cupcakes, heart-shaped cakes - so that we have some variety!0 -
If you fancy something a bit naughty, then what about iced bottom shaped biscuits
Easy to do with an upside down heart cutter

I make shortbread hearts
4 oz butter (not marg)
4 oz plain flour
2 oz icing sugar
2 oz cornflour
Put all ingredients in a bowl and rub fat into flour. After the 'breadcrumb' stage, it should gradually start making larger lumps. Squidge together into a big ball. Roll out onto a floured surface to desired thickness. Cut into shapes and put on a greased baking tray.
Bake in a medium oven, Gas 4, fan 160 C until just tinged with gold.
