Please help with credit card charges

I had a capital one credit card which I defaulted on and have since paid off the balance to a debt collection company. The thing is most of what I paid was charges on the account for late payments and going over my limit (because of these charges ). Also I paid a deposit of £200 for a limit of £200 (yes my rating was that bad and it was meant to repair it) should the £200 have been taken off the total? I'm not sure if it was or not as I don't have any statements.

Please help because I haven't got a clue what to do about it. I argued with the DCA but was bullied into paying it. It was only £370 but its not the point.

  • Can anybody help? What I'm wondering is can I claim these charges back?
