Hi, I've just come across an American knitting pattern that I'd like to try, but it says to use Worsted-weight yarn, and I've no idea what that is. I've tried Googling but came up with nothng. Please help if you can. Thanks, Soba.

Worsted usually knits to our dk weight. The needles should be between 3 and 1/4mm and 4mm overall. Slightly bigger and it will be brushed dk weight.

Thanks ChocClare, that's just the kind of thing I was Googling for. I've added it to my favourites. Thanks again.0
