Hi all
Hope you can help?
My income is included in our Households income for my partners CSA1 assessment.
I have now been put on a 4 day week with a 20% pay cut to match - reducing my salary by £350 per month.
Can my partner ask for a reassessment based on this information ?
Thanks in advance

Your partner can request a reassessment any time he wishes.
Whether it succeeds or not is down to the rather complicated CS1 formula.
The CSA state that they do not take the NRP's partner's income into consideration when making the initial assessment. However, once the assessment has been made, based solely on the NRP's income & living costs, this income will then be taken into consideration when deciding if the NRP & family have enough household income to live on after the child maintenance has been paid.
I hope I made that clear!Donedoingdebt Lightbulb moment January 2000. Debt at highest approx £102,000. Debt now (October 2009 - absolutely fork all!!!)

so does that mean any wages from the grown up children of the nrpp are also taken into consideration ?0

DDD - I know that my income is not taken into consideration directly however when looking at assessment before my income was included and after the households disposable income increased by my weekly income - yet OH housing costs where reduced to benefit levels as his name is not on the mortgage
Thanks

Sorry smokey112, I don't understand the bit about housing costs being reduced to benefit levelsDDD - I know that my income is not taken into consideration directly however when looking at assessment before my income was included and after the households disposable income increased by my weekly income - yet OH housing costs where reduced to benefit levels as his name is not on the mortgage

Can't he claim half the housing costs even though his name is not on the mortgage?
If not, is it feasible to include him on the mortgage?
I've no experience of this situation as my name has always been on my rent book.Donedoingdebt Lightbulb moment January 2000. Debt at highest approx £102,000. Debt now (October 2009 - absolutely fork all!!!)

Even if his name isn't on the mortgage, he should still be given 100% of the housing costs UNLESS there are no children in the household and then it is restricted to 50% of his net income.0

Mortgage is in my name only as his ex only removed his
name from her house 4 yrs ago - we where BR until
Oct last year and will be looking to remortgage around May
this year.
We have also a secured loan in joint names which CSA will not acknowledge
as being his as we do not have the receipts for work done in the house
on his assessment he is only awarded £50 per week for housing costs.
Kelloggs I will send you the info as request - thanks for your help
