  • hopefully this will be my last post on this thread! sent cheque this morning with the following letter:

    I write in response to your letter accepting my offer of £333.64 in full and final settlement, dated on 29th December 2009. I enclose a cheque for this amount.
    Your acceptance of this cheque is confirmation that:

    1. This sum will be accepted by Apex in full and final settlement of this account (even if it would be registered on my credit file as a partial settlement )

    2. A balance of £0.00 will be assigned to the account on my credit file and confirmation that neither you nor any associate company will take any other action to enforce or pursue this debt in any way whatsoever and that I will be released from any future liability.

    Please acknowledge receipt of this cheque and of the above points in writing to myself

  • i know its been almost two years !! but id like to know what happened with regards to the default on your file and what they put on your credit file in the end?
