Littlewoods passed debt to Lowells - time for a CCA request?

As title says really. My Littlewoods account has now defaulted - this is one of the frms who totally ignored my letter saying I'm with Payplan - and they've passed the debt to Lowells.

Can I ask for a copy of the CCA for the catalogue from Lowells? The most recent debt on there was incurred 2 years ago so I'm not sure about the rules on CCAs from that recently. But I have had the catalogue for around 10 years in total, not sure if that makes a difference?

The amount owed is a little over £300, and I could get £100 together - is it worth offering 30% as F&FS? That would give me a whole £1.80 a month towards my other debts :rotfl:

It would probably be worthwhile sending a CCA request - if they don't have a copy the debt is unenforcable and you may be able to make a greatly reduced settlement offer.

When was the last payment you made towards the debts? Could any of them be statute barred or close?

Send off the CCA request , you lose nothing for asking . See what happens ,
  • I have been paying through Payplan since last May, I only missed one payment in total but of course have not been paying the full amount since going on my DMP. I will send off my CCA request in that cae and see what happens!

I haven't had a copy of my CCA for my MBNA debt so I'm thinking of offering them a relatively small amount later this year for settlement.
