Have just purchsed a Khyam Awning for my van. Prices vary a LOT!
The reason seems to be the current Euro and USD exchange rate. It hadn't occured to me until yesterday. Shops buying stock currently are being forced to raise prices due to the exchange rate. Most shops with last years stock however are selling them at last years prices. Maybe worth thinking ahead, especially if you are after a popular model.

I think the advice is that if you are looking for an awning then ask the shop that sells them for last years stock as they will have bought that when the exchange rate was good rather than this years stock which will be much more expensive (is that right Moneybox?)
