Ipod speakers

I want to buy speakers for DD Ipod (4G) and am looking for something trendy for a soon to be 14 year old. I want to spend around £50 ish.

I want mains powered. Something a bit quirky would be good. Searched Currys/Dixons/Tesco online. Any other ideas?

    If you are looking for something quirky and looking to spend that much check out an Ipig. My daughter got one for christmas and loves it. The sound quality is really good. (read this as it goes loud) :rotfl:

    I also found this which looks great but need to find out what it performs like and if the new Ipod fits it.

    well i bought various different ones for my daughters ipod touch to replace the last ones and she wasnt happy with any of them....eventually she bought herself some small ones from hmv and they only cost a fiver but she said they are better than any shes ever had as you can carry them about - they fold up and they charge your ipod too....
