Cheap but good Dial-up ISP?

Can anyone advise what is an inexpensive but worthwhile ISP for dial-up please?

The company that supply the connection in UK for Highstream is no longer going to do so from Friday 10th so I need to find a new one fast! :(

Preferably about £10 monthly.........

Any advice welcomed.

I saw fast4.net at £6.99 does anyone know if they're any good??

I'm looking for 24 hour access if possible, mainly online 4am - mid afternoon but also some evenings.

Many thanks :)

    Hi,

Would https://www.tesco.net suit you? It's £5.99 pm for Daytime dial-up; i.e. 2am through to 4pm without further charge.

    Barbara.
  • Thanks Barbara,

I am starting to think about that one as I do use it more through the day, but if possible would prefer the option of being able to go online in the evenings too.

Are you on Tesco??? If so, is it a good quick service?

    Thanks, Muriel
  • I use https://www.virgin.net 24-7.
£12.49 per month, monthly contract, reliable.
    Rgds.
  • https://www.flexi-surf.net have unlimited package for £5 per month, I have never used them so cannot say if they are any good.

    can i restart this thread-

any dialup deals out there nowdays?

most seem to be double the price of broadband nowadays (2009), which arent suited to me.

btw, fast4 are playing silly boogers, so looking t change from them ASAP!
