Hey ppl,
just a quick bit of advice if i can.
My work didnt pay my bonus last month and arnt paying it this month either, so that leaves me 750.00 overdrawn without permission.
I spoke to halifax today and they said i can do a payment plan with them but cant do anything cos ive got 3 checks unaccounted for.
The 3 checks are more a payday loan.
The question is should i tell them thats the case and see if they will honour the checks into a payment plan or maybe not say anything cos i could risk them allowing me to do a payment plan if they know.
Any help or previous experience would really be benificial guys

Just bumping to the top for you in case anyone has any advice.
Sorry I can't help myself. My only advice would be to speak to the CCCS as, if you are relying on bonuses, you may need to reassess your finances urgently.

If you aren't relying on bonuses then why have you run up a £750 overdraft when you say you have £400 left each month? Why will you be going without money for 2-3 months, aren't you getting your normal wages either?
How much are the 3 payday loans for?

payday loans are for 3000

I think you are going to have to be prepared to negotiate with payday loans and the bank.
My personal opinion is that you need money for everyday living and you also need to get yourself out of the payday loan spiral.
1. I would talk to bank and go armed with an income and expenditure plan. You could ask for a temporary overdraft to help you, however i suspect from your post that they may not be amenable to this. In which case i would ask for money for living expenses out of your wages.
2. Cancel the cheques to payday loans and negotiate a payment plan with them at a rate you can afford. If necessary take advice from debt charities on this..but do not get any more loans from them.
3 If you cannot get the bank to agree or payday loans then it maybe best to change banks, get your wages paid in there and negotiate a payment plan for a few months in order to pay back what you owe them. The problem here is the charges that the bank may levy on your account, and it may that if you haven't managed to get together the money to clear the overdraft then you may have to look at a DMP.
4. Have you had a thorough look at your SOA? There is one in the sticky at the top of the boards, we could suggest further ways to help you if you completed and posted one up.
These ideas are just my personal opinion, i hope i haven't offended you just thinking things through in response to your post. I am sure others will be able to suggest more ideas.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
