Interview for non-local job

I have a job at the moment but it doesn't pay well so I applied for a job at a petrol station company. They have several garages and the interview is at the one furthest away (near the motorway in the middle of nowhere, no public transport).

I had a motorbike (until 2 months ago when some thieving scumbags nicked it), and would need to buy another one if I were to start this job. If I do get offered a job, how can I get him to wait for me to get a new bike, which can take a week or two depending on the documents required, and I would have to retake my CBT (didn't renew due to aforementioned scumbags).

Is there no way you could ask a friend to take you up there, yes you could ask the interviewer to wait for you get a new bike and he could say yes, id explain the situation and hope hes says yes ok,
