giddyaunt used to be an Ebayer. It looks like they have moved on using their own site only instead of paying Ebay commission. I have just emailed them as to the whereabouts of my order as it is still in 'Processing' but their wesbite says it should have been despatched within 48 hours. Fingers crossed they will reply and/or they come.
EDIT : Paid using my credit card though. I have just got my money back via my credit card (egg) for a purchase before Christmas for a company that went bust.... so well worth using one if you have got one instead of debit cards/PayPal.
EDIT2 : Kones just arrived from GiddyAunt (11 Feb). The other item I ordered at the same time hasn't so I assume I either haven't been charged for it or it is coming in a different shipment. Paperwork looks professional enough... though my sales shipment shows a total of £0.00 but the company seems fine.
My mum has the Kurv (K-010) model which is electronically the same but I think looks classier/less plasticky. I would recommend having a look at that. I presume this a rebadged (as Dirt Devil) version of it available for £18.19 delivered from Amazon marketplace :

you mean this... i think i prefer the the white one but the white one matches my 40"lcd, wii and sky+ box so maybe thats why i prefer it...but i guess this would suit those with chocolate leather seetees but still thinks it looks like something a genie might appear from lol
(btw anyone seen a white surround sound?)0 -
Have to say, judging by the pictures (not seen either in the flesh yet) I also prefer the look of the Kone...Call me Carmine....

My Kone just arrived. Ordered late Monday night so fantastic service from GiddyAunt! My father now wants one so emailed them to enquire if they are still in stock and they are (email answered very quickly!). I would highly recommend this company based on my experience!Call me Carmine....

Of course it is personal preference. For the "white" modern house maybe the white is better but for a 'lived in' house the other is worth considering.
Here's a picture of real life Kone V Kurv

After having had the Kurv the Kone just seemed a little more bulky.... and in use the Kurv has a better hold having a slimmer/more uniform neck (all of course in my opinion).0 -
Still prefer the look of the Kone, lol, but like you say would depend on decor more than anything. My sons have been busy vacuuming any bit of dust that moves since the Kone's arrival. Of course, I'm expecting this new-found (nay, never previously found) propensity for vacuuming to last all of a couple of hours but it's a start....Call me Carmine....
