Kitchen drawers falling apart

Options
Hi

The drawers in my kitchen units are falling apart. I really need a new kitchen but can't afford it atm esp with DH being made redundant.

Does anyone know of a joiner in the central belt that can repair drawers.

thanks

Where abouts in the central belt? I know a couple of fitters but they wont travel far if it's only a small job.
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

could you not get a screwdriver and a couple of screws and fix it yourself?

  • Wood glue / impact adhesive (depending on what you drawers are made of) plus a few heavy books to hold it in place till it sets. Also DIY's best friend gaffer tape (use it inside the drawers where visitors can't see!).

i think they have stuck thier hands to the drawers with wood glue and cant get back to thier computer.
