Cereal Thriller!!

Options
Sorry about the title - just wanted to grab your attention! :o

Just found two boxes of un-opened Granola/cluster type cereal. OH bought them but now says he doesn't fancy them  and I don't eat the stuff!

Any ideas on how to use them up? I was thinking Twink-type biscuits or flap-jacks but don't have a recipe. Have got loads of dried apricots, figs, etc as well.

Thanks in advance :D

  • Hi...I've just made some cornflake cakes, with bran flakes...I think you'd be able to do the same with granola. There's loads of recipes. Mine is just 2oz butter, 1 tablespoon syrup, melt, add 1 dessertsp of cocoa, then add flakes and anything else, like coconut or nuts. The last lot I made I grated the rind of an orange...they were delicious.
Just put a spoon in a cupcake paper and put in the fridge til firm.

Could you use some of it mixed into a crumble topping?
