Hidden wholesalers of fashion in London?

Hello,

I read an article recently on Timeout or something similar, about fashion wholesalers in London, who accept don't advertise it, but they accept cash for small one-off purchases.

I'm pretty sure they were either in the West End (near Piccadilly Circus) or East End, Aldgate East or somewhere around there.

Can anybody point me in the right direction? Or better yet know any specific shops?

Yes, there are some on Great Titchfield Street, and some on Great Portland Street; basically behind Topshop. If you ask people around there, you'll be pointed in the right direction.

PS Nearest tube would be Oxford Circus.

There's a lot in the streets around the fire station on Commercial Rd (in the streets linking Whitechapel High St and Commercial Rd). Near Aldgate East tube.
