Beacon application

He has just called back. Beacon said that it has been given priority because the mortgage is a dicounted rate and since I applied that particular deal has been pulled but they will still honour it.
So basically I will know by Friday either way as it will be within the 10 working days since receiving the survey, I will let you know when I hear back again!

I said to call as an email is a lot easier to ignore - although you are right about audit trails, and I use email all the time

if u access yr email regular...... ask yr adviser to send u email updates...........that's if he has yr email addy, as so many advisers seem to overlook this important channel of communication.........

If your adviser is using a packager it may help to know that Beacon are currently taking up to 2 weeks to issue an offer on a case signed off and submitted by a packager. (In other words all references received, valuation done etc etc)

A nightmare timescale in a good market but with Beacon being the sole occupant of their current market we have no choice really.

Yeah that's what I have been told. A packager has been used. It's a scary 2 weeks!

I never noticed this thread, but I'm also querying how long things will take with beacon.

We've provided everything they need and the survey was done this morning, so I'm just wondering how long until the mortgage offer is sent out?

Our broker has been emailing a 'Senior Underwriter' at beacon who's told us exactly what they want.

I'm assuming now all our details needs to be packaged up and sent to the lender for them to do the mortgage offer. but how long will it take?

unless of course beacon is the lender as well as the packager? then things may be quicker?

Thanks for letting me know mate.

We had our survey done on Monday, and I think the case was submitted on Wednesday.

Was it 10 working days, or just simply 10 days?
