Minimum transfer into L&G stakeholder?

HI,

I have a very tiny sum in a Friends Provident stakeholder, and would like to transfer it into my Legal & General stakeholder.

Do L&G have a minimum transfer value? As the sum is only in the region of £100, but I want to tidy things up a bit as i seems silly having a pension with such a tiny value.

Cheers,

Marc

    Hi marc

Under stakeholder rules they pretty much have to take the money. There is a minmum contribution limit of £20 for stakeholder but this can be gross and shouldn't really apply to transfers, but it sounds like you are well above that.

However some firms will insist you take advice or at least try to!

    Best to simply ask them.
