Easiest icing is just plain water icing (glace) made with lemon juice. The recipe is on the icing sugar packet or see the link below.

I make these cupcakes in a variety of colours. I did purple, orange and black at Halloween and I shall do a variety of pinks for Valentine's Day. For Easter I shall make some in different shades of yellow, fresh green and crocus purple.
