If you can get free delivery when you spend £40, it probably won't show that anywhere. The way to test it is to put £40 of items in your basket (that needs to be the cost *after* any sale deductions are made), and pick a delivery slot after 2 p.m. on Sunday. I hadn't heard of this before, but would be thrilled if it works!
Fyi, I have an order coming today that is over £100 and got free delivery. It's easy to do if you like beer, soda pop or wine, wait for a good sale as there was this week, and stock up on those items on top of your regular grocery order. Your total jumps up real fast, lol.
Edit: I just tried a sample order over £40 and set it for Sunday from 2-3 p.m. (which is the latest delivery slot they have on a Sunday), and the delivery charge was £5.50. I thought it sounded too good to be true.0 -
Thanks for that skibster! Saved me the time it would have taken to test!!:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

You could also get free delivery at selected times on Sunday when you spend just £40. Orders below £40 will be delivered for a £6 charge.
Maybe it is a local thing but I live near to London Colney Sainsburys and we have the above offer on our delivery options. Try it yourself with an AL1 or WD6 postcode.0
