What else can I do

Hello all! Have been lurking for a few weeks and studiosly taking notes. I am really impressed at how warm and friendly you all are and so have decided to post. Now I have complimented you nicely, I wondered if you could give some advice? My oh works full time and I am lucky enough to be a full time mom to ds age 6 and ds age2 s o we only have his income and it has been a bit of a struggle to say the least but I have took our finances in hand and our debts are not so bad- £1640 on 0 per cent virgin credit card which will be paid by November 09 hopefully and £1600 o/d which we will be paying off £200 a month so should be all clear by December. Have given us a budget for spending money per month and started a spend diary, have signed up for free daily scratch cards and mystery shopping and survey sites to bring in extra cash for kids days out etc but was wondering is there anything else I can do to raise cash using my laptop when kids are in bed?

Would be grateful for any advice I feel a bit cheeky actually as not in very much debt but as they say "every little helps"

Sorry for the rambling but oh poured me very generous voddie about half an hour ago!!!!!

  • Hi Jemjar,

    welsome!

You could try signing up to the following cash back sites.

    www.quidco.co.uk

    www.topcashback.co.uk

    www.cashbackkings.co.uk

In addition to this you can also try some of the challenges being run on the boards like make a £1000 in a 100 days and 20p savers club and the grocery challenge.

I agree with the Quido thing - I signed up via Quidco the other week to Gala Bingo. I had to deposit and wager £5 but got £20 cash back - £15 profit. I also took out a PayDay loan for £80, I need to repay £100 but get £50 cash back - £30 profit. For doing virtually nothing!!

(I agree with the cashback thing - I just got £107 payment from Quidco - £70 from LV car insurance, £30 from Scottish Power, and a few bits and pieces)
