JSA and Contract Work Question

Hi There,

I have been on JSA for about 2 months now, Got an Interview on wed for 6-8 week Contract work. If i was to get offered the Contract then do i call up the JSA to sign off the day before i start work and can i sign stright back on after the 6-8 weeks without waiting again if i dont have a fulltime job by then.

    In the green booklet you recieved at your initial interview there should be a form inside that you just fill in and send to your local jobcentre or if you have to sign on again before you start work then just hand it in, just write you want to be paid until the day before you start work. Then when you finish your work, phone the day after you finish so you dont lose any money and they will do a rapid reclaim which is alot quicker.
