Birthday - What to do?

Major birthday half way to a 100 - dont like fuss, centre of attention etc - what can i do? Modest gathering would consist of about 30 max. Can I just opt out and go away for a long weekend?
Getting grief from other half so give me some ideas guys. Please:j

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
My mum was the exact same, we ended up just going out for a meal with a few of her close friends and some family. Only about 12 of us I think.
Then back to my mum and dads house for tea and birthday cake.
She then went away for the weekend with my dad and a crowd of their friends and when she returned my dad had booked her a surprise holiday to Tenerife.

I think if you would rather just go away for the wweekend then do it. Its your birthday and Im sure people will understand you dont want the fuss of a party etc.

Enjoy ur b/day when it comes

My Mum had a close family meal on the weekend of her birthday.
Family round for a birthday tea on her birthday.
Drinks and a meal with work friends on the Friday of her birthday week.
And we took her away for Easter for a week as she didnt want a party.

She seriously stretched her birthday out over a long period of time considering she didnt want a fuss lol
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together
