Need a mainland UK shipping company to receive goods & forward to NI.

Hi
I want to buy some goods online from a UK company which will ONLY deliver to mainland UK unfortunately .

I live in N. Ireland so I want to the supplier to ship them to a shipping company across the water and pay that company to forward the goods to me.

Can anyone give me some recommendations or advice?

Thanks,
Motorhead.

Have you any friends or family on the mainland? I would think one carrier delivering to another and sending them across to here may lead to problems should you have any damages. If you could have them sent to a friend they could check them for you before sending them on.

  • By the way I have actually found the identical product in N.Ireland at approx 250% the price but I refuse to pay the local company that ridiculous amount.

The supplier (to both the online retailer & the NI company) does not ship to individuals like me.

(Was hoping for a something more constructive :rolleyes:Pssst!)

Have you asked them to ship directly to you and pass on the additional charge that they would incur? Or failing that, you could arrange for a national carrier to go in and collect from them and ship straight to you. Most of the larger ones like UPS, DHL, TNT etc will allow you to do this and pay by credit card.
