How do I get bubble bath out of my carpet?

Hi all, have never posted on this part of the forum before, but I do like to lurk sometimes:D Anyway, I have a problem and was advise that you nice people may be able to help. Whilst tidying up this afternoon I dropped a large bottle of bubble bath on the carpet which broke in two and spilled all over the carpet. I have manage to soak most of it up but it has left a stain.

Luckily it is a dark carpet so doesn't show too badly but I am worried about how to get the rest out, I don't want to put water on it in case it foams up and makes it worse, but I don't want to leave it as it is in case it goes sticky. Does anyone know what I should do? Thanks in advance.
