pizza hut nightmare

last night i went to my local pizza hut geting a table at last they mixed us up with another couple.
we ordered our starter and it was tasty as usual until the end under a last chicken wing was a massive thick screw how the hell no one had noticed it before i do not know.
the manager was help ful after going through the scenario how did it get there we dont use screws ect she took it off our bill and gave us a £10 vouchure.i felt ill as she said they will send it off for sampleing ect all i thought about was germs ect.
it amazed me how things like this happen you hear about it all the time and it shocked me lol.thought id share.

How awful. I hope you didnt pay for any of it?!!!! They have tried to make the situation go away by giving you a voucher. If I were you I would write them a letter of complaint and you will get much more than a tenner. I would almost guarantee it.

What a nasty surprise! :eek: Definitely worth complaining - tell them if you hadn't spotted it, you could have taken a tooth out biting into it!

Good luck with your complaint - it's totally justified. If you don't get any further, report them to the local environmental health office at your local district council.

i would ring them up, i emailed a few weeks back about trapping my fingers on their dodgy chairs and got a simple letter of apology nothing else!
