And also just recived a leter from the bank £246 of charges in jan aint that a joke needless to say ive opened a new account0

Personally I wouldn't bother sending token payments at all at this stage as it will only delay the inevitable. If the OR questions it just say you had to save your BR fees up somehow so the debts were sorted before they got any bigger.
Open a co-op account, get everything paid into there, then you can save without having to worry about your savings getting eaten by bank charges.BR 08/04/09 | ED 02/10/09

I made it through!

I agree....token payments not much use tbh as sieve said it's only delaying the inevitable
Creditors will take a few weeks before they realise somethings wrong....be prepared for letters & phonecall hassleWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
Thanks sieve,
ive already opened a online account with one banking,
Bring on the court date, going to spend the next month eating gruel but it will be worth it in the long run0 -
Yeah im already getting the calls,0

One banking? Are they bankrupt friendly? The only ones we know about on here are Barclays and Coop. When you do manage to save the fees be sure you don't leave any money in that account as it will likely be closed by the bank.
Are you entitled to any benefits? Have you looked on https://www.entitledto.co.uk? Do you have anything you can ebay?

You can ignore the calls. None of my creditors accepted or acknowledged my offer of £1.00 token payments. I'd just try and save as quickly as possible for BR.
How much is your total debt?

Hi Shaun,
When you booked newcastle court did they take much info? When I rang they offered 25th Feb but I panicked and thought that didnt give me enough time to get sorted so asked for the following week and they gave me March 6th. They then took only my name (even tho joint BR) and a contact telephone number and that was that? I was expecting them to take my full details, maybe NI number address etc? Panicking incase I havent booked it properly now? They did give 2 times slots 10 mins apart but said they would just see us together.
Heres to a brand new start!!;)
Court date March 6th!:j 1 week after BR and feeling pretty good!:j0 -
