Help, thinking of starting jewellry making

Hi,

I don't know if anyone could help - I am thinking of starting jewellry making as a hobby and I don't even know where to start, probably with beading. Can someone please advise me of a good starter kit, or something to get me going - there is so much info out there I don't even know where to start!!

or hobbycraft they will generally have starter kits.google starter kits and beginner tutorials and it should bring up some videos etc for you to watch,you could also try going to the library get yourself out a few books on beading jewellery then you may get some kind of idea of where to start.i self taught myself,im not great by any means but i watched and followed tutorial videos on you tube,plus scouted ebay for cheap beads and findings,tools etc plus also the local charity shops for old jewellery that could be taken apart and used again.warning though it can become very addictive,though you will enjoy it.i started off making earrings,bracelets,bag-charms and book marks found these the easiest for me.i ended up making watches for xmas last year for pressies and everyone loved them.but please google jewellery sites and shop around sometimes you can usually find some have weekends of free p&p,sales or promotional codes.im sure peeps on here will be able to give you even more info
