Anyone know any remedies for cold sores please?

cirilloHi everyone.I have cold sores under my nose and they are very annoying .I have been putting Blistex which is for cold sores as well as for chapped lips but even if I applied it every hour it doesn't seem to be doing any good.I can only see the doctor tomorrow morning.it seems to be spreading.Any miracle cures please?:confused:

    My partner suffers also, though Blisteeze works for him.
    If they do erupt, he dabs them with aftershave. Stings like a b**ch, but dries them up quick.

    Also zinc supposed to be good, and he hasn't had any since he's been taking zinc supplements.

    My wife swears by "Brush Off", or something like, but please be aware that your milage might vary, and I am not sure if I am allowed to say that on here. ;)
