hi has anyone had any problems with argos staff when buying more than one copy of the same game,i've just been told that it's ppl like me that stop other ppl getting good deals on sale items just because i wanted 2 copys of burnout revenge and although they had 29 in stock she refused to sell them to me can could understand it if i wanted 10 but 2 should'nt there be something printed in there catalogue or on display in there shop.

You must have got a moody member of staff, I've got up to 4 of the same game one time (These were Xmas gifts too so bought during a busy period!). If you go in on a Sunday the staff are usually more relaxed

I would complain immediately to the manager. They can not refuse to sell you more than one item unless it is clearly the case, (as in mobile phone sales,) Also I'd complain to head office.
Following that principle of hers, if you wanted 2 bedside cabinets in the sale she would refuse to sell you them???
More wonderfull customer service!Waddle you do eh?0 -
she might have got confused with the mobile phone rules0

yeah but staff shouldnt talk to customers like that, the only time I ever do is when they swear or yell at me (and i think thats justified) I would say ring store manger & customer services asap! good luck and pls update us!0

Yeah, got 2 of this game myself in 1 purchase, you just got a bad apple behind the counter!0

Yep, i've bought three of the same game before (when they were cheap) and had no hassles. Argos have no bulk-buy poilcy on normal items as I am aware, so unless they have a very good reason they should not have stopped you. I would make a formal complaint. It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.
Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.0 -
when i got back home i checked online to see which other stores had the game in stock but no luck it also said that the store i went to had non then yesterday they became available again so went this morning but same member of staff still won't sell to me i think she may be a supervisor or someone like that she was wearing a red uniform (everyone else had blue) if they had some kind of policie about buying in bulk surely i would'nt be able to reserve 10 online for store pick up i will try again later today if i don't have any luck i will ask to see the manager0

make sure you do, if you reserved them ring there head office (i found the number on the contact page of ww.argos.co.uk) and tell them whats happening. i bought 2 headboards on sale yesterday, one for me one for spare room, would have been livid if someone had said that to me.£2 saver club 30th sept 198 £2 coins = £396(£350 banked)0 -
I'm sure they can stop anyone buying anything if they see a reason for doing so! In fact they don't even have to give a reason!0
