date decided just aanother question

We have finally decided that the date we are going to go for BR is Wed 1st April, I know, I know, It is April Fools Day but, who's the joke on eh!!!
Anyway reasons for this are I am fed up waiting for DFD to get their backsides into gear so just going to book it and tell the court that I have failed to make payments for 3 months which constitutes a fail in the eyes of DFD, but, hopefully we will have the fail certificates by then anyway.
Other reasons being that hopefully being start of April hubby won't get nil tax code which will go through payroll and all through the workforce through mouthy one in office.
Anyway, question is what do we take on the actual court day?

Debtors bankruptcy petition x 2

copies of SOA each x 6

Court remission forms X 1

Wage slips x 3 for remission fees

benefits paperwork all for remission fees

Oh and money x 2

Is this all for the day or do we take less or more and keep all other paperwork eg secured loan car paperwork and all creditor debts for the OR?
Any help appreciated. Thankyou.

spenderblender - Hi there, not sure your timing is right ... The tax year starts on April 5th .... I think you will get a Nil Tax Code for 2009/10 bearing in mind your OR interview will be a little while after your BR.

I may be wrong. The people who escape it are those that go BR in the last bit of the tax year - Feb/March time.

  • Thanks Startagain. Middle of March is probably better then. I will phone court tomorrow and confirm dates. Still need to know what to take though if anyone can help.
