T- shirt decorating

Hi, can i pick your brains please?
DD is having a design your own t shirt party for her 9th birthday.
Can anyone help with the best place to get decent fabric pens from as cheaply as possible? My carpet doesn't fancy the paint :rotfl:. Some sets of 12 have been around the £10 mark .
Ive seen some on ebay but don't know if they're any good.
Would the crayons be too young for 9 year olds?
Any suggestions for gems or glitter to go on them?
Sorry for all the questions but really don't know what I'm looking for

I usually go to dunelm mill for fabric painting stuff. Just get a really wide range and then the girls can be as creative as possible, the more variety of jewels and sparkle the better!
I think the crayons are fine for that age group, they can actually look neater than felts and you can shade them.
Just another little idea for decoration, my dd came home from tesco this week with a load of photographic t-shirt transfer paper that she bought for 48p a box. You could print off their pictures, favourite things etc before they come and then they can decorate with them before adding the sparkle.0 -
Hi,
I bought these from this seller just before christmas, they are chunky ones which my 6 year old loved using, we only bought them to colour in a fabric bag which I had bought for his nanna then he coloured it in.... after you colour you simply iron it for a few minutes then wash as normal when needed.
The seller is fantastic and since have used him a few times for felt tip pens for colouring etc
Berol is the name that alll the schools use and they have a guarantee that they won't dry out if the cap is left off up to so many hours which is perfect for kids.
You might be able to contact the seller and ask if he would be willing to do some kind of deal if you purchased so many sets .... I have seen these exact pens in the yorkshire trading shop and they were £14.99 so I paid a third of the price

Sorry Paddington just in case hey!!!Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together0 -

Fab idea - t-shirt party.0 -
We had a T-shirt party recently and got our pens from Tesco. They were they're own make and were with the normal felt tips and crayons.Wooligans member 2010 - 6 animal blankets. 2 angel wraps, 2 baby hat, 4 Aaron squares, 5 cardigans

Thanks everyone - I nipped into the pound shop on my way out work and they had a pack of 10 fabric paints in squeezy tubes like glitter glue.
I bought a set just to try and they seem fine - just waiting to see how long they take to dry as we couldn't resist a play. Feel some decorated shopping bags coming on for xmas gifts
Have a mission on Friday now to buy some more plus t-shirts and need to request a menu from DD - she has decided she wants a tower of flapjack instead of a cake :rotfl:.
May also buy some of that paint remover phunkles.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended
