Hi I recently bought a Bissell Proheat and it is amazing. I got mine off ebay it was a refurbished one so it was half the usual price. I paid about £100 but they are £250 plus brand new. It seems a lot of money but they are really good. I have used a Vax before - that was rubbish. And I hired one of those Rug doctors which I was totally unimpressed with.0

Hi, Just pop down to your nearest Homebase and hire out the Rug Doctor, It works miracles!! also it is not too expensive to hire. I thought about buying one after having cream carpets put down throughout but for the amount of times I'd actually use it I'd prefer to rent when I need it.0
