Well you learn something new everyday! My wife often picks the odd thing up from the local Co-op department store and I have a current account, ISA and loan with Smile. Might have to look into this (shame I didn't know about it when I took the loan out!)
  • Not meaning to hyjack but does anyone know if Britannian savers will get a cash payout when the merger goes through like some savers did when some banks merged??

    They will not.

  • I am a member of the Coop and have all my bank accounts with them. I think I'm supposed to be receiving dividend payments for the money held in these accounts, but I'm not.

I have asked at the Coop supermarket, who told me to phone the bank. I did and was told that they didn't know anything about this and would look into it. I never heard anything back.

Does anyone know how I claim points for the money in the accounts?

Yes, they told me that too so I sent Smile my membership number in a secure message. Wait and see now!
  • I'll get on the phone to them at lunch time. They're really nice people but sometimes seem a bit hopeless! Let me know how you get on with Smile, I can then use that as ammo if necessary!
