Hand Written or Online Forms?

Do the courts prefer the forms to be hand written or typed and are they exactly the same which ever ones you use as have heard they differ slightly from each other?
Also could somebody please be kind enough to tell me the allowance for housekeeping for two adults please. Also have to feed a large dog and cat, three guinea pigs and two rabbits, but I guess this won't be taken into account by the court!!!
Thanks again.

You can put expenditure down for pets - try £15. Have you posted up your SOA for comments?
I preferred to hand write my forms, the courts don't have any preference - whatever you're happier doing.
I'm not sure about housekeeping for 2 adults but must be around £300.

Thanks again. I haven't posted SOA yet, will do later. My dogs insurance costs £25.00 per month, as he has quite a serious illness, but I am guessing I will not be allowed this much.
When I am doing the SOA do I put down the whole cost of something, i.e £25.00 for pet insurance, or do I put down only my half of £12.50?0 -
Put the whole thing down - and put £25 for pet insurance if thats what it costs. On the income section put down your income and then your partner's contribution (this will not be their total income as they will be expected to have personal expenses of their own which you are not putting down on the forms.).

Thank you I understand now. Will probably have lots more questions over next few days.0

My thoughts on handwritten v online are to do them whichever way is easier and more practical for yourself but make sure they are clear. Both the clerk and the judge will want to scan them pretty quickly - the clearer the better.
Good luck

They aren't really... just take it slow and a bit at a time. Crashing into them can mean making mistakes where you miss something. Every time you don't understand something or have a question, stop and post on here. The answer will be quick and then go back and pick up where you left off.
I actually made a list of all my debts, all my cards, my bank accounts, in rough and it was a lot easier filling it out on the form.
Good Luck - you will be fine!

I completed my forms online as you can save and go back to them when you are ready.
I did a bit at a time as they are quite intense. However when it comes to your I&E they dont allow you to expand on details as you could by writing them but when printed off they are clear and tidy. I printed one copy off and photocopied the other two copies that the court needed.0 -
Doing it online makes it easier for the OR office as it comes through already completed on their systems. The court simply rely on the paper copies you bring in (one of which is also forwarded to the OR). So it makes no difference to the court.
There is no obligation to do it online though so do whatever you prefer.0
