Same here... no transport to school for my daughter because of RCT... although school is open apparently tomorrow... but its parents discretion if we send them....

omg, what an experience,

I have just staggered from drift to drift, while Skip has bounded excitely like a mad thing in huge circles around me. Our gates were all frozen and drifted up just to get out of the garden.

We have a good 5" on main road, with 2-4 foot drift walls in lots of places now, and steady snow circling around. The cars are really strange as they have 4" coats of snow on all sides. Its a icey yet large flake snowstorm that is really piling up everywhere.

I forgot to say you have to picture me staggering with my crutches as well, and burying each boot in turn in various drifts...

i still have to go give my horse her midnight feast, and extra water etc,
was snowing a few hours ago, havent looked since, but doubt that it has settled, just dont wanna go out.

Its mad here honestly, but we are quite high up in the welsh mountains.

But you are welcome to our settee if you like Gingerchick. Not sure how you'd get here through as they stopped the buses here at 6pm, 6 miles away through (opps, sorry you'll need to make your own way home now folkes - I know that from various calles re getting transport down to people we've had tonight)... and nothing is moving, except idiot MSEers walking crazy collies.

dont think my horse would like deep snow, although the other day i woke up fast and looked out my window to see if any horse stuck in snow drift ,
have family in wales, were at brecon, but now they back near bangor,
