Afternoon all. Trying to arrange the school ceilidh and quiz nights having a nightmare so NO comps done today!!!!!:o

Had a fab quiz sheet ages ago but the gremlins in my computer ate the file:mad:
It was one where you used drinks to fill in the words with things like
My alarm went off at - - - I got. (7up)
and
Andy felt ill he had a - - - - - - couldn't get rid of.(coffee)

Really cross i can't find it again Oh well have posted in the charities board to see if anyone there has used it!

Today is getting better.....:rotfl:

Spent the whole of the morning at the hospital with DD2 for her orthodontic referral (she managed on leaving to walk into the door.....:o - fortunately not breaking any teeth this time......:rolleyes: ) and then by the time we'd got back to the car and then home (via Mr T for some bread and milk) and had lunch it wasn't worth taking her back to school for the last hour....so I didn't.

However......have had a phone call to tell me I'd won 'tickets from the Comic Relief Competition'. Didn't like to admit I do a lot of competitions and couldn't remember what the tickets were actually for but managed to sound pleased to have won them.....just checked my list of comps and I'm fairly sure I've won tickets to Arsenal v Fulham this Saturday:j Oh is pleased - he went last Saturday and it was 0-0 so hopefully a better result this week.....:rotfl:

Realised on reading back that I forgot to send special hugs to Jen.Eng ( I KNEW I'd forgotten someone and I didn't have time this morning to work out who) - so extra special (((((jen.eng)))))) hugs.

big woks hasnt got his keys yet but mr woks said that when the window fitters come to replace the glass in window they would have said it had to be renewed cos it was rotten, least big woks is packing now:j I can do it in a day he says, 5 boxes packed and he has to have a rest:rolleyes:
got a microwave for him now off great gran, new one, she is giving him hers and buying another as she doesent use it much and she sorted him toilet rolls, washing up liquid and lots of other useful stuff, last time he visited her she wanted him to take the SHARP knives and forks home with him on a train in a plastic bag:eek: but he said he didnt think it was a good idea,lol
