Dont know what you all think - weve already got one daughter 4years old and umming and arring over whether we should try for another - im 32 quite clucky - hes 36 (not so much ) Any advice ????

Try and find out why hes ummming and ahhing maybe..

I'm broody as wel, I'd love another, mine are 4 and 7, and my 2 main friends have 6 each... (I have a bad body for pregnancy through - severe spd - and can only cope with one more pregnancy at most)
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Personally, I think you're both very young enough to try again.

To be honest I had to badger my OH for our 2nd child 2 years ago, I was 35, he was 37/38. But now we have her, he absolutely adores our family situation. (saying that though! I've been told under NO circumstances can I have any more - but that is due to the trauma and danger I experienced in pregnancy and labour)

So, I would say all things being well....go for it!

I would love a couple more.

  • watters, only you and oh can decide on that:D you are both still young so plenty of time, im very broody but aint having more as my last pregnancy was hell on earth, had spd and couldnt walk much, dr had to tell dh to hoover for me, he loved that:rotfl:

ive got rolls in the breadmaker, should be ready soon, ds needing a packed lunch tomorrow as they are off doing stuff with the school outwith so that will be fun, ds doesnt think so though:rolleyes:

was just browsing through my subscribed threads and i was all over the board posting before i came to the comps section, now i hardly ever post outwith, funny isnt it, oh and came across a chat competition thread and it only had 100 odd thanks now the thanks go away over 600, intersting reading:D

Thank goodness you were/are ok - you cant blame them for being " scared" -especially if there are any complications - im scared to have another but we are clearing out everything from first daughter and makes everything seem so final (please tell me if im being daft) !!

Find a place in your attic and store it Watters if you can. i still have lots of my big baby stuff, just in case.

PP, spd is dreadful isn't it? I ended up stuck in bed or crutches/wheelchair from wk 16 until they delivered ds 5 weeks early, and then I had to sign a disclaimer as they wanted him out at wk 34 and I wanted him to have a stronger suck reflex. I still suffer now as my pelvis moved and nearly split plus damaged my back. And they warned me I would be a high risk for another pregnancy, would I like to consider sterlisation in the future.

Yet they are such wonderful gifts, I would love more. Dh is willing, but my Mam thinks I would be crazy (Mams always want to protect their kids), but I think, I don't want to get to 50 and feel that I should have but now its too late...

You are not being daft at all! It is so much more scary for men ( I think) for some reason.
We've just finished clearing all my 2nd childs baby things out and to be honest, I have hated every minute of it!
