Well good evening all, I'm back. Is wokkies still with us or is she too shlozzled?!?! 14 pages since 4.30pm... anyone care to summarise??!!
Had a lovely evening. It's really snowing again here - not a nice journey home and had to stop and get fuel so got soaked! Then got home to discover washing machine wouldn't drain, so followed instructions to drain and it spilled dirty water all over my kitchen floor. Argh what a mess!! Just finished mopping it up - so annoyed! Put it on a quick rinse cycle to check it won't do it again - hope not.
Anyway, won't be on here long - very tired and important directors meeting to present at tomorrow morning first thing so should get to bed shortly.Life is all about the journey.0 -
My god you lot can't half talk......have had pages to catch up and now forgotten most of it......:o
SOD - hugs - hope tomorrow goes well - shall be thinking of you...
Bon Jovi - have seen him at Milton Keynes Bowl (sorry Claire:rotfl: ) twice - first time was when he was supported by Billy Idol, Manic Street Preachers and Little Angels, second time supported by Nickelback. Also saw him at Twickenham last year (next time I go I take spare bottle tops..... ) supported by Biffy Clyro and Stewart Mac.
Slow-cookers - love mine - not sure I can be said to follow a recipe - more a 'fling it in and see what happens' cook:D - but all has turned out edible. Whole chicken is amazing - oodles of stock and the flesh just falls off the bone....
Wokkies - hope you're not too pisozzled yet and that you had a great day.
Cathy - I sometimes have times when I feel like that - it means you're doing too much, slow down and let someone else carry some of the load - you sometimes need to do stuff you want to do, not what you think you ought to do itms.
Hi to all new Inners:hello:
Right - I am soooo far behind on comps I'm not even going to try going there....and I've got a fair bit to do on Ancestry before tomorrow night....:o
Might be back later, if not sweet dreams everyone.

I have decided that all my family have a conspiracy against me comping! Once again got sidetracked with phone calls, my ds and facebook chat! There just isnt enough hours in the day! Want to cancel my friends coming here tomorrow to comp, lol ofcourse I wont but an tempted!
Cathy, can I please join the fat club, ive lost 6 pound already? and Gert can I join the slow cooking club - I just LOVE my slow cooker, took me a while, I was left unused and unopened for 18 months, but we have a definate love affair going on now!
Best book ever, sorry Im repeating myself as I said this earlier was bought my by MIL for Christmas, nothing special to look at as hardly any pics but FAB - slow cooking - easy slow cooker recipes by Katie Bishop. Mind you you cant beat the bbc food website, its fab and you can have your own folder of recipes. Now im going as I sound as if im about 60 and think of nothing else but food (one of those is true btw) I do like to think of myself as a bit of a Nigella. I queued to see her at the Good food Show in November, how sad am I??
And Claire ive failed your challenge today - will try harder tomorrow I promise
Night all xxComping addict since 2007 - still waiting for 'the big one' :j0
