  • Morning - I think???

Kids supposed to be going to MIL's to stay tonight, the first night LO will have stayed away from home. DD still complaining of tummy ache, not been sick again but didn't get up til gone 11 this morning. MIL works in a school, has run her own playgroup & is more than capable of looking after a sick chid so do I send them or not? She's said she doesn't mind either way & with her working in a school if they don't go tonight it will be a while before we get chance again????

I hope nobody minds me moaning, but despite trying really hard to keep my spirits up, I'm really fed up!

With the kitchen taking so long to finish, my life has been on hold for so long, I haven't been able to do my sewing, theres been no room for doing my exercise routine so haven't done it for months. I was really fit before and because now I can't do nearly as much as I want to, I'm feeling fat and ugly.

My house is a total tip, with all the old kitchen boxed up and piled wherever possible, and the constant noise of drills and hammers is making me feel sick now.

I know it will all be worth it in the end, and compared to some, I haven't even got a problem.

But I just needed to vent.

    Sorry for rambling.

    I feel so pants !:(
    Hun

I totally know how you feel. I am a bit of a pro at this situation now, as we are on our 2nd property that totally needs refurbishment.
When moving into our bungalow, every room needed doing, but 6 years later we have our lounge to do, well to do is take ceiling down, new beam accross the room, ceiling and walls plastered, new carpet, new fireplace, new fire, re wired, new sockets and light fitting, last on the list will be new furniture.

He is planning to start at any moment, and I will be moving into parent temporary,

I think the best advice is sit down, have a drink and think about the end product, a room how you want it in every detail.
This is your home after all!

    (((Hugs hun)))

    Afternoon all!

I seem to be having terrible luck with everything right now! Not just with comps(no wins since Nov) but with everything else also!! It's really started getting to me! :(

Anyway, enough of my moaning, how is everyone and has anyone had any good wins recently?

    xx
